- This service is designed to support public institutions and/or SMEs exploring the potential of generative AI in a public sector context through real-world, GDPR-compliant experiments - ranging from secure, limited LLMs to broader Gen AI tools. Municipalities can test in-house or external solutions while SMEs can test their innovations in authentic municipal settings under real constraints and considerations.
- Service Deliverable
- A tailored Gen AI pilot project co-designed with participating municipalities and partners. Activities will depend on the maturity of the Gen AI solution and the participating parties. We facilitate activities such as matchmaking, scoping, and setting up of the experiment, ensuring alignment with public-sector needs and compliance requirements. Both municipalities and AI innovators gain practical insight into technical, legal, and organizational implications of AI adoption supporting smarter procurement for municipalities, future requirements, and scalable implementation decisions grounded in real-world evidence. This service follows our initial dialogue-based service ‘Initiating Gov Tech Innovation’ or ‘Opportunity Assessment for public institutions’ where potential matches with municipal partners or AI innovators are explored.
