Welcome to the north supernode
The Nordic Super Node is a collaboration between Citcom.ai partners in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, uniting eight specialized nodes under the transversal theme POWER.
Its purpose is to accelerate smarter, greener, and more resilient cities and communities by combining strengths in AI, energy systems, robotics, cybersecurity, and intelligent infrastructure.
Through a wide network of living labs, test-sites, and innovation hubs, the Nordic Super Node provides companies and public organizations with real-life testing environments, high-quality data access, and expert support.
This enables customers across the region to develop, validate, and deploy cutting-edge solutions faster and with greater impact.
Whether you are a company, a city or a research group, you can use our infrastructures to validate your innovation, ensure compliance and demonstrate real-world performance.

The Danish node helps you to
The Danish Node brings together innovation hubs and testbeds to help companies and public organizations develop, test, and scale AI solutions for smarter and greener cities. Through living labs, real-life city environments, advanced robotics facilities, and high-quality energy data, it offers hands-on testing and expert support.
If you are a company
The Danish Node’s main offer is access to real-life testing environments where companies can validate and refine their AI and digital solutions under realistic conditions. By providing living labs, city testbeds, robotics facilities, and high-quality energy data, it helps businesses de-risk development and accelerate market readiness.
If you are a city
The Danish Node’s main offer for cities is support in testing and adopting innovative AI and digital solutions that address real urban challenges. Through access to living labs, city-scale testbeds, and expert guidance, cities can explore new technologies in safe, controlled, and realistic environments. This helps municipalities reduce risk, accelerate their green and digital transitions, and make better-informed investment decisions.
If you are a researcher
The Danish Node’s key offer for researchers is access to high-quality, real-world data and advanced test facilities across energy systems, robotics, and smart city environments. This enables researchers to validate methods, run experiments, and collaborate closely with industry and public partners.

The Swedish node helps you to
The Swedish node is led by RISE, an independent state-owned research institute with 3,200 employees, offering access to more than 130 test and demonstration environments for future-proofing technologies, products, and services. With a strong team of researchers, technicians, and domain experts, RISE supports innovation across many industrial and societal sectors.
The Swedish CitCom.ai node provides specialized services to SMEs and other organizations, with a particular focus on AI compliance, real-world and realistic testing environments, and cybersecurity.
If you are a company
The Swedish CitCom.ai node provides SMEs and companies with access to experimental and testing environments at TRL 6–9, enabling optimization, prototyping, verification, and validation of AI-driven solutions in real urban settings.
Organizations receive support with AI Act compliance, cybersecurity testing, interoperability (including MIMs 1–3 and 6–7), and evidence generation required for market readiness. Subsidized services help accelerate development and strengthen the credibility of products on the European AI market.
If you are a city
Cities are offered the possibility to test and demonstrate AI systems before, during, or after procurement, using realistic and secure environments such as Hammarby Sjöstad (housing), Hornsgatan (mobility), Cyber Range, and private 5G infrastructures.
Municipalities receive expert guidance on legal requirements, future smart-city services, and prioritization of technology evaluation needs. The Swedish node enables cities to shape safer, interoperable, and compliant digital services aligned with EU legislation.
If you are a researcher
Researchers gain access to advanced test zones, digital platforms, synthetic data tools, and complementary resources such as AI Factories, data spaces, digital twins and HPC environments.
The TEF supports experimentation and analysis in both controlled and real-world settings, including access to domain experts in AI, cybersecurity, legal frameworks, and standards. This makes it possible to validate research results at high TRLs and collaborate with European innovation ecosystems.
