The French CitCom.ai Node, led by LNE, helps you develop, test, and validate safe, reliable and ethical autonomous mobility solutions. By combining decades of testing expertise with advanced AI evaluation, it gives you direct access to high-value facilities and tailored experimentation environments.
Four Complementary Service Areas : Designed for Your Need
Together with UTAC, UGE, and IRT SystemX, the French Node offers concrete, ready-to-use services for your products:
• Physical testing on advanced tracks and controlled environments such as Sense-City to confront your system with real-world constraints;
• Simulation and digital twins (MIL to VIL) to safely explore complex scenarios and accelerate development;
• AI algorithm validation, performance assessment and dataset-based evaluation;
• Compliance & ethics guidance, helping you prepare for AI Act expectations using LNE and UTAC’s certification expertise.
Since the start of CitCom.ai, several SMEs and startups—some returning customers—have already used these services. New enhancements are coming soon, including interconnected digital twins and deeper simulation–track integration.
A Solid Foundation for Growth and for Your Project
Each partner brings long-standing industrial-grade capabilities. LNE alone counts over 120 years of testing experience with the oldest European AI evaluation team; UTAC and UGE provide IoT-equipped test tracks, simulation benches, and specialized facilities; IRT SystemX is an renowned RTO expert of numerical technologies. This allows us to design tailor-made experiments adapted to your technical level, constraints, and budget.
A major strength of the French node is that several partners were commercial testing centers long before the TEF program, ensuring mature processes and long-term service sustainability.
Collaboration and Impact
CitCom.ai strengthens operational cooperation between the four partners and opens access to infrastructures usually out of reach for smaller companies.
“CitCom.ai allows us to reach new customers and make our advanced testing capabilities more accessible. It’s also deepened the collaboration between partners in a truly operational way,” says Rémi Régnier, LNE.
Next Steps
The French Node will expand compliance and ethics support and intensify cross-border collaboration to offer you even broader testing possibilities and ensure Europe stays ahead in trustworthy AI for mobility
