Welcome to the Milan node
The CitCom.ai TEF Milan lets you deploy and validate AI and ML solutions in the urban regeneration area of Cascina Merlata / UpTown, using large-scale distributed sensing to test performance, scalability, and impact in a real urban environment before wider deployment. You can also rely on the expertise and IT facilities of the top technical university in Italy to test advanced AI/ML pipelines using state-of-the-art city-wide data collection infrastructures, as well as physical and virtual testbeds.
What you get
Validate your AI/ML pipeline in a unique environment.
Access to Air Quality and Pollution Data
If you are working on biodiversity, urban pollution monitoring, and the like, we have one of the largest datasets of such data available for you, covering 6+ years of fine-grained temporal trends of 10+ key environmental measures that you can use to train your models.
Embedded AI/IOT Software Design and Development
If you want to deploy in field, you can rely on the expertise of a top-class research team to design, implement, and test energy-efficient embedded AI solutions across hardware and software. We are currently operating the longest-running IoT deployment in the literature, which is operational with zero-maitenance, using energy-harvesting technology, since 2019.
